Cross–Culture Programs for Japanese Participants
Many Japanese find working and communicating with non-Japanese challenging and stressful. Confusion and misunderstandings are common. Improving English will help but is certainly not enough. What is needed is a Global Mindset. Think about these questions:
- Are your team members working with non-Japanese colleagues or clients?
- Do they understand other people’s ways of thinking or life-styles?
- Do they need to manage non-Japanese staff?
- Is their boss non-Japanese?
- Are they going overseas for training or to study?
If the answer is yes, we believe that they need to understand and adapt to a Global Mindset.
On our Global Mindset programs, we show how different cultures work, think, communicate, build relationships, make decisions, and do business.
In practical terms, from this program, they will learn:
- How to be more persuasive in business situations
- How to change meeting/presentation/negotiation/writing style
- How to build good relationships
- How to report confidently to a foreign boss
We will train participants how to adapt to different expectations and communicate appropriately while remaining true to themselves. They learn not just to overcome cultural differences but also how to search for synergies in the pursuit of shared business goals.
