Q1. What is the maximum number of attendees in a group?

A: 4 or 6 people, depending on the program.

Q2. Do I need to have a certain TOEIC score to attend your training?

A: We do NOT rely on TOEIC score.  A Canning Trainer will conduct a phone interview and evaluate your English level based on our assessment standards. Therefore, TOEIC score is not relevant to attend Canning trainings.

Q3. Who are the Canning Trainers?  What is the qualification to become a Canning Trainer?

A: All Canning trainers have international business backgrounds.  They successfully completed 50 ~ 100 hours of internal training in order to be qualified as Canning trainers.  They are also from many nationalities which allow us to offer you rich content in cross-cultural and global mindset trainings.

Q4. Is it possible to get good results in such short term (2 – 3 days)?

A: We promise clear results which you will experience.  Business Skills Essentials Courses are focused on communication skills in specific business settings.  The training is customized to get the most efficient result based on individual’s level and needs, therefore the more definite your needs and goals are, the better results you get.

Q5. Do you have a training course for New Employees?

A: Yes. One of our clients has been offering the Canning course to their new employees over the last 10 years. Duration of a training vary from 2 days to 3 weeks depending on the clients’ needs.  We have received many positive feedbacks from the past participants mentioning that they found the skills they mastered very practical and useful.

Q6. When do I need to apply for the course by?

A: If you would like to attend an Open course, please apply 3 weeks prior to the course or before.  If you are interested in an Intensive Tailored Course, please contact us 1 month prior to the preferable starting date.  For an Extensive Tailored Course, please contact us soon.

Q7. What are the main industries of your major clients?

A: They are from various fields such as Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Automobiles, Financial, IT, etc.

Q8. Where is the location of the training?  Is it possible to have training outside of Tokyo?

A: Open Courses are held at our office in Tokyo.  A Tailored Course can take place at either our office or other locations you would prefer.  Please contact us for more details.

Q9. What is the difference between Lesson/Lecture and Training?

A: Unlike Lesson/Lecture, Training requires active participation from you.  Through Role-play exercises and various activities, you will perform and master the skills, instead of receiving information through lecture or textbook.

Q10. I am not Japanese.  Is it possible to take your training?

A: Yes. We have provided our trainings to French, Indian, Chinese, German, and even English-natives.  All trainings were delivered in English.
